REGISTRATION INFORMATION – SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021

Important Dates for DECEMBER 2020

December Registration opens – Wednesday, November 11, 2020
December Registration closes – Sunday, November 22, 2020 at midnight.
Registration Method - please call the office at 862-702-2023 to register.
The first days of SKIP for students enrolling in December are as follows: Cohort A begins on November 30th and Cohort B begins on December 7th.
 
 Program Hours and Schedule

Before care operates from 7:15am until 9am
After care operates from 12:55pm until 5pm

For the month of December, SKIP will be available to students who are receiving in-person instruction in their A/B cohorts and our programs will follow the same schedule and calendar set by the School District.

Eligibility for the SKIP Programs

Students in grades K-5 who are following the A/B Cohort are eligible for the SKIP program.  SKIP is only available to a student when they are receiving in-person instruction.

Capacity Limitations 

Due to safety and staffing concerns, each site, for both before and aftercare programs, will have limited capacity. The amount of students who can enroll in SKIP varies for each site. If we reach capacity, you will be notified at the end of the online registration process that you have been put on a waitlist. If you are waitlisted, you can not attend SKIP. We will release students from the waitlist as soon as a spot becomes available.

Registering on CommunityPass

If you are registering for the month of December, you will need to call the SKIP office for assistance. The office phone number is 862-702-2023.

Our registration process is done through CommunityPass.  All returning families should sign into their existing accounts, review their family information to make sure it is still accurate, and then register their child(ren).  If you have forgotten your password, you may call or email the office and we will reset your information.

If you are a new family, you should have received an email from CommunityPass with your temporary login information (check your spam/junk folder).  When you sign on for the first time, you will be asked to verify your family information.  Once your account is verified, you will be able to register your child(ren) for SKIP.  If you do not have the email, please contact the office at pace@pthsd.net.

TIP FOR FAMILIES: Whether you are a new or returning family, we would suggest you go to CommunityPass now and verify and/or update your account.  This will save you time when you go to register your child(ren).

Program Specifics

Below are a few of the safety and health practices which have been added to our programs in accordance with education and government regulations.  Additional information, instructions, and guidelines will be emailed to parents prior to the first day of SKIP.

  • Students will be placed in groups of no more than 10 students with assigned staff members. 
  • Students within a group of 10 will adhere to social distance practices to the greatest extent possible.
  • Groups of 10 will be spaced at least 10 ft apart from one another.
  • Students will be required to wear a face covering at all times, except when eating.
  • We will conduct temperature checks when students arrive both to AM and PM SKIP.
  • We will increase the frequency of hand washing and hand sanitizing.
  • Lunch will occur at the beginning of PM SKIP and students will eat in their groups in indoor or outdoor settings.
  • There will be time for homework and virtual learning.
  • Students will have time to play outside weather permitting.
  • While we are limited to the toys and supplies that can be shared within a group of students, our SKIP teachers and aides are developing fun and engaging activities which comply with social distancing protocols.
