REGISTRATION INFORMATION – SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021

Important Information & Deadline Dates for SKIP – JUNE 2021

REGISTRATION FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE WILL OPEN ON MONDAY, MAY 10th & CLOSE AT 5PM on MAY 21st.

For new SKIP families – if you are registering for AM and/or PM SKIP, please call the office at 862-702-2023. 

For current SKIP families – If you have decided to be full remote, please email the office so we can properly withdraw you from the SKIP program.  If you have changed your status to in-person full time, please email the office so we can adjust your account – skip@pthsd.net.

For returning AM families – ALL returning AM Program participants MUST re-register for the program before April 1st.  Please call the office for assistance with the registration process – 862-702-2023.

Program Hours and Schedule

Before care operates from 7:15am until 9am
After care operates from school dismissal until 6pm

Eligibility for the SKIP Programs

Students in grades K-5 are eligible for the SKIP program. SKIP is only available to students receiving in-person instruction.

Capacity Limitations 

Due to safety and staffing concerns, ALL sites, for both before and aftercare programs, will have limited capacity. The number of students who can enroll in SKIP varies for each site and registration is on a first come/first serve basis. If we reach capacity, you will be notified that you have been put on a waitlist and you will not be charged. If you are waitlisted, you cannot attend SKIP. We will release students from the waitlist as soon as a spot becomes available.

Program Specifics

Below are a few of the safety and health practices which have been added to our programs in accordance with education and government regulations. 

  • Students will be placed in groups of no more than 15 students with assigned staff members. 
  • Students within a group of 15 will adhere to social distance practices to the greatest extent possible.
  • Groups of 15 will be spaced at least 10 ft. apart from one another.
  • Students will be required to wear a face covering at all times, except when eating.
  • We will conduct temperature checks when students arrive both to AM and PM SKIP.
  • We will increase the frequency of hand washing and hand sanitizing.
  • Lunch will occur at the beginning of PM SKIP and students will eat in their groups in indoor or outdoor settings. The students will also receive a snack around 3:30pm.
  • There will be time for homework and virtual learning.
  • Students will have time to play outside weather permitting.
  • While we are limited to the toys and supplies that can be shared within a group of students, our SKIP teachers and aides are developing fun and engaging activities which comply with social distancing protocols.
